Keep Worshipping for the Lord

In these challenging and troubling times, we must not give any place to Satan; he wants us to falter, fail and become frustrated. It is important that the body of Christ maintains her vibrancy, vitality, vision and sense of values. Let me encourage you to adhere to the advice of the Apostle Paul in Galatians 6:9-10 – “And let us not get weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not; as we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Let me prayerfully try to unpack this promise to the body of Christ.

We have to continue to pray to God that we defeat that spirit of weariness and the stronghold of doubt and fear. We must be more determined to not stop praising our Lord in this season of agony and anxiety. This coronavirus can bring us closer to Jesus or drive us further away. Listen, someone had been drifting away from Jesus, right in church, before the coronavirus outbreak. Jesus is calling us back to him right now. If we continue to worship Jesus, in season and out of season, God will bring us through. Moreover, the Lord promised, “…For in due season, we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9) The harvest will come. The tree will bear good fruit and more fruit. God wants you to live a fruitful life, a fulfilling life, a forward thinking life, and a functioning life.

We shall overcome! “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” (1 John 5: 4) Henceforth, God has blessed many us to be uniquely positioned to be a blessing to the household of faith. This is why you can’t quit and hang your instruments on a willow branch. The devil is a liar. We had better get up and be about the Lord’s business. “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Praise the Lord Saints and keep pressing on! Amen.
