The Christian Response to the Coranovirus

Many people are walking in fear. The word of God says “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7) Jesus didn’t give us the spirit of fear; Jesus came to give us hope, help, healing, and to answer our prayers. I want to encourage you today. Don’t let the devil steal your joy, your purpose, your peace and your witness. Jesus is right: “The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
Yes, this virus is serious; this virus is deadly; this virus doesn’t discriminate; and this virus can depress you. However, Jesus will protect you, heal you, and encourage you. Jesus is alive! Jesus has all power to give you the abundant life. You must live your life for the glory of God. You must increase your faith by praying daily, reading God’s word and helping the poor and the elderly.
In times like these, we must not fret, worry and faint; we must trust God. We must draw nearer to God and we shall worship God fervently and frequently. David is right. He declares in Psalm 34:1 “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.“
Don’t panic. Pray and praise God!
