The Christian Response to the Coronavirus

Really God?

Roman 8:28 says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”

Really Lord? Really Lord? Really Lord?  Do you mean Lord, somethings, many things, a few things, perhaps my things, good things, better things and this coronavirus thing?  Yes, I think God still means all things.  God can really take anything and make something out of it.  Listen, He made the heaven and the earth out of nothing and made Himself a world.  He made man from the dust of the Earth; He breathed into nothing and we became “living souls.” God gave each of us an identity, destiny and legacy.

The key is “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.”  I believe the Apostle Paul is saying that it does matter who you love.  My God, if you love money more than you love God, things won’t work for your good; if you love stuff, places and things more than God, it won’t work.  If you love pleasures, possessions, popularity, positions, political parties, parks, and pornography, these things will not work together for your good.  Why?  Because this coronavirus pandemic has shut down those places that promise you peace and prosperity.

If we love Jesus, if we honor Jesus, if we serve sweet Jesus, and if we are “called according to His purpose,” God promises that “All things will work together for our good. “  In the season of this virus, God will turn it into a blessing. Really God?   Yes, I will because “I am that I am!”
