The Christian Response to the Coronavirus

This coronavirus is a storm. It is my fervent prayer that we will come through this storm, trusting more in God, worshiping greater and strengthening our prayer life. Did you know that some of God’s best messages are revealed in a storm? I don’t believe God causes every storm, but I know my God can use every storm. The truth is that we have all been in a storm; we are coming out of a storm; or we are in a storm right about now. Please don’t give up in a storm; there are values from these storms.

Please read the entire writings of the Apostle Paul in the Book of Acts, Chapter 27.  Paul and the 276 people with him on the ship are in a storm.  They will learn some lessons from this storm.  Acts 27:20 reads “And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was taken away.”  My God, this is one of the saddest, but also one of the most inspirational verses in the Bible.   It was when they “finally” gave up all their own efforts and looked only to God that an angel of deliverance appeared in Acts 27:23.  They had done everything they knew to do:  trim the sails, dump the cargo, clear the decks, tie the ropes around the ship, and exhaust all their efforts!  Then God said,   “Alright, are you ready to listen?  I am going to save you!”  What have you learned or what are you learning from “Storm Coronavirus”?
