Green Enterprise Partners With Florida A&M University for 4/20 – ‘Pharm to Table’ Cannabis Education Event
An educational on-campus community town hall where Florida A&M University (FAMU) Medical Marijuana Education and Research Initiative (MMERI) and Green Enterprise will partner to provide education, information, and purposeful research around Florida’s regulated cannabis industry.
Green Enterprise, operated and produced by Digital Venture Partners and Black Enterprise, and FAMU have announced the 4/20 – Pharm to Table Cannabis Education event. The on-campus symposium assembles state officials, medical professionals, and thought leaders to put an educational spotlight on the widely regarded cannabis consumption holiday.
The event will be taking place in FAMU’s Grand Ballroom and underline a variety of panels and lectures.
“The FAMU MMERI is pleased to partner with Digital Venture Partners and Black Enterprise in the creation of an environment that facilitates a full day of conversations, lectures, panels, and the exchange of ideas regarding marijuana for medical use and the impact of the unlawful use of marijuana on minority communities. Our goal is to empower students and the community with an opportunity to engage with learned individuals in the cannabis space.”

COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS
All produced events shall adhere to the provisions of Digital Venture Partners, as well as each university’s safety Plan. This includes maintaining appropriate physical distancing among participants and shall not exceed the maximum occupancy limits for the applicable space. For indoor events, in no case shall the event exceed one hundred (150) people. Outdoor events shall not exceed fifty percent (50%) occupancy for outdoor spaces where maximum occupancy has been established.
- Masks are required any time attendees are indoors in the presence of others, or moving through space (indoor or outdoor) occupied by others, regardless of the distance between themselves and others.
- Physical distancing guidelines require that attendees maintain at least six (6) feet of distance between themselves and others at all times.
- The touching of shared surfaces is discouraged and the sharing of objects should be limited. If items have to be shared, hands must be washed or sanitized afterwards.
- If the alert level changes, the maximum gathering size may be less than 50. We will closely monitor local mandates and may reduce maximum occupancy to less than fifty (50) occupants. If the alert level changes, we have a plan to communicate with attendees if the event has to be rescheduled, relocated, or canceled.
The proper local, regional, and state safety associations for the area in which the event will take place will be notified in advance of all events.
