U.S. Rep Al Lawson names Stephanie Lambert as new communications director

WASHINGTON DC – U. S. Rep. Al Lawson of Florida has named Stephanie Lambert as the Communications Director for his congressional office.
“Stephanie brings a wealth of knowledge and more than a decade of experience in communications and public relations to this position,” said Lawson. “Her enthusiasm is an incredible asset as we expand our outreach and messaging. Stephanie has a strong understanding of national and regional issues, and her contributions will be invaluable as we serve Florida’s 5th Congressional District.”
Lambert is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of the overall media strategy for Lawson and managing the day-to-day communications operations, including digital engagement, speechwriting, media releases and correspondence.
“It is an honor to work for a member of Congress who truly cares for the people in his district and will fight tirelessly to ensure they have the resources they need, “Lambert said. “I want to thank Congressman Lawson for allowing me to serve in this essential role.”
Lambert most recently served as the Communications Coordinator for the Florida Department of Education, where she developed strategic content and messaging for the state agency. Prior to this role, she served as the Associate Editor for the Capital Outlook newspaper in Tallahassee, and worked for the Florida A&M University Office of Communication. She has also written for the South Florida Sun Sentinel and Teen Voices magazine in Boston, Mass.
A native of Lynn Haven, Fla., Lambert holds a degree in Journalism from Florida A&M University.
