The unmasking of President Trump’s mental illness

“Worse than being a liar or a narcissist, in addition he is paranoid, delusional and grandiose thinking and he proved that to the country the first day he was President. If Donald Trump really believes he had the largest crowd size in history, that’s delusional,” said Dr. Gartner who is also a founding member of Duty to Warn, an organization of mental health professionals who feel Trump is unfit to be president.
In the last week, Trump has speculated and suggested that maybe the voice on the recording where he boasted about grabbing women’s private parts, was not him. Even though he had publicly apologized and acknowledged the authenticity of the recording, he may be now considering an investigation.
Trump is also claiming that he lost the popular vote in the election because of widespread voter fraud. There is a fundamental mental problem when the president is unable to divorce himself from his own version of reality. The president’s own version of reality is the beginning of his ‘alternative facts’ that the majority of time ends up in a lie.
Most of the things the president does are unprecedented, and there is a complete disregard for the truth. The Republicans are starting to make excuses for the crazy statements made by the president, and everyday someone from either party acknowledges that Trump is not fit to be one of the most powerful men on the planet.
Major allies this week around the world are starting to publicly criticize Trump’s statements, and not believe his stories. Maybe to Trump’s base it does not matter who believes his stories and speeches, but to the other 65 percent of Americans, they are sick of his delusional reality, and believe they are being put at risk.
This could be the beginning of dementia, but something is wrong when the story changes every two months and sometimes the very next day. It is obvious that Trump does not care what the majority of Americans think. As his administration or the media cannot get a straight answer out of the president, his integrity and accountability does not exist.
When the Republicans vote for a tax bill that no one knows what is in the bill, and some of the changes are in pencil, something is wrong.
The country is in a sad state when the president only wants a win, and the content is not important. It does not matter who the tax bill hurts, but getting the bill across the finish line is the only thing important to him.
Insanity is contagious and many psychiatrists can recognize dangerous from a mile away. “You don’t have to be an expert on dangerous or spend fifty years studying it like I have in order to know how dangerous this man is. Trump is mentally ill and must be removed,” says Dr. Gartner.
When the president is bipolar and suffering from mental illness, it is time to take action. The majority of Republicans are in denial, and many Democrats know the truth, but are not sure what to do.
Billionaire Tom Steyer is leading the way by launching a $10 million campaign calling for President Donald Trump’s impeachment. Donald Trump’s impeachment must start as a movement from the bottom up, and Tom Steyer is one of the leaders.
You may not have $10 million to initiate a campaign, but you have influence over the people you know who care about the state of America. You may be a political activist, or a member of a church, or a business owner, or a soccer mom, but it starts with your voice and communicating the truth.
Donald Trump is not mentally fit to be President of the United States according to mental health professionals, and his delusional lies and stories are putting the country at risk. When you can’t believe anything the president says, he should not be in office leading the country.
