Robertson earned honorable mention All-American at NCAA national meet

EUGENE, Ore. — Rachel Robertson was the lone competitor to represent FAMU at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Ore.
She didn’t make it to the podium last Saturday, but she returned home with an honorable mention on the list of All-American athletes at the meet.
“I want to thank everyone who supported me this season and am extremely grateful for this opportunity to represent the Rattlers in Eugene,” said Robertson, following the competition.
Robertson failed to produce a jump on her first attempt but followed up with back-to-back jumps of 12.59 meters. Robertson’s 12.59 meters was good for the 21st best jump of the day.
In addition to the honorable mention to cap off her outdoor season, Robertson previously won SWAC gold medals in the triple jump and high jump events.
