Keith Rodgers to co-host Butler concert
Co-host Keith Rodgers will bring the funny to the Jonathan Butler concert this weekend.

Just what will be in Jonathan Butler’s repertoire when he takes the stage at Lee Hall this Saturday might be a toss-up for those who have been following his career.
It has evolved to include gospel as of late. But in a recent interview, Butler reassured it will be a solid blend of his varying style.
“It’s like when you cooking a meal,” he said. “You want to have Brazilian spices and different spices. You just keep doing it until you find the combination.”
A familiar face in Tallahassee entertainment was recently added to the show’s line up, which includes keyboard stylist Marcus Johnson and the FAMU Gospel Choir. Spoken word special Keith Rodgers will co-host.
Rodgers is best known for his work with Tallahassee Nights Live, a popular grown folks’ talent show.
“We are super excited to have Mr. Tallahassee Nights Live, Keith Rodgers, joining us for A Tallahassee Night of Inspiration with Jonathan Butler,” said Melanie Williams. “We were ecstatic when we found out that he was available because he will bring the “inspiration,” the “funny” and the “essence” of Tallahassee to the stage.
“Keith is a master of the spoken word and exactly who we were looking for to complement our mega lineup with Jonathan, Marcus Johnson and the famous FAMU Gospel Choir. Tallahassee is in for a treat.”
The show is a benefit for the Sugar Daddy Foundation, an organization founded by Williams to assist single parents. The Butler concert on Saturday was originally scheduled for September, but was postponed when Hurricane Irma came through the area.
