DeRosier claims first win of outdoor season

ORLANDO — Joseph DeRosier registered the first win of the outdoor track and field season for FAMU when he won the 110-hurdles in a time of 13.64.
The freshman defeated 18 others at the UCF Black & Gold Invite on Saturday on Saturday in Orlando.
The Rattlers also had two others finish in the top 10 of their events. In the 400-meter race, Alesia Douglas placed sixth in a 40-person field in a time of 54.76, while Kimeone McLeod took seventh against 32 other runners in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.06.
FAMU’s next two meets are in town, starting with the FSU Relays on Friday and Saturday.
