Capital Outlook distinguish leaders for the year

Seven individuals, organizations and church make up a list of honorees selected for recognition by the Capital Outlook, an entity of Live Communications.

Each of them will be honored at a ceremony, which will be announced at a later date. The annual selections were made for the period of 2020-2021.

 “The Live Communications family is so proud to present to this city and our readers the persons who we have selected our honorees for this year,” said Rev. RB Holmes, publisher of the Capital Outlook.

The list is as follows:

Persons of the Year: Dr. Monique Butler, Capital Regional Medical Center; Vincent S. Long, Leon County Administrator

Pastor of the Year: Elouise Jones, Tabernacle of Praise

Church of the Year: Haiti Church, Pastor Hugues Balde

Families of the Year: Dr. Edward and Brenda Scott; Robert and Cheryl McCullum

Millennial of the Year: Dr. Joedrecka Brown-Speights

Business of the Year: Mega Ace, Vaughn Wilson

Organization of the Year: Omega Lamplighters, Royle King

Youth of the Year: Cason Golden, eighth grader at Raa Middle and member of Distinguished Young Gentlemen.

Civil Rights Advocate of the Year: Darryl Jones
