Basie orchestra to highlight CSSAH induction ceremony

Florida A&M University College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities will honor 20 alumni with enshrinement into the CSSAH Gallery of Distinction on Friday at 4:45 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom. 

Following Friday’s induction ceremony, the legendary Count Basie Orchestra will perform in the Lee Hall Auditorium. Scotty Barnhart will direct the orchestra.

Admission ranges from $20 – $65 for the concert, which begins at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on line (https://bit.ly/3yAvouJ).

Prior to the induction, the CSSAH Gallery of Distinction Portrait Unveiling Ceremony and Reception will take place at Tucker Hall on Thursday, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
