AN OVERNIGHT EXPERIENCE
[subtitle] 100 Black Men of Tallahassee, Inc. hosts FREE Summer Success Academy [/subtitle]

Again this year, the 100 Black Men of Tallahassee, Inc. (100 BMOTA) will provide two and a half days of activities for young men, Aug. 9, 10, and 11, to prepare them to be successful during the coming school year and beyond, and of course, to have some fun. The event, open to young men in 5th through 12th grades is FREE! and will be held at the Hansel Tookes Recreation Center on the campus of Florida A&M University.
Activities will include a trip to the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, STEM activities provided by the Challenger Learning Center, sessions about gun safety, drug and substance abuse, careers, mental health and anger management, etiquette, astronomy, what to do when engaged by the police, character development, listening skills, words of wisdom from three area principals, all types of sports and athletic events, chess and checkers and much, much more.
Meals will be provided each day and students will be sleeping over at the Tookes Center.
