FAMU’s Windham to coach in Reese’s Senior Bowl
Special to the Outlook
Despite all that’s going on with the FAMU football program, running backs coach Marcus Windham will be on the sidelines as a coach in the Reese’s Senior Bowl on Feb. 3.
The showcase game takes place in Mobile, Ala.
“All glory to God,” said Windham. “I can’t say how thankful and excited I am to learn and work alongside coaches from the highest level. Thank you to the Reese’s Senior Bowl for this opportunity. Mobile, here I come. Let’s Work.”
Windham will coach receivers on the National Team alongside Callie Brownson from the Cleveland Browns. The FAMU coach is one of four from an HBCU to coach at the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
Shawn Gibbs, head coach at Fort Valley State, will also coach the National Team. Larry Scott and Rod Milstead will coach on the American Team.
The game will feature the best NFL Draft prospects that have completed their college eligibility.
