Special to the Outlook

The MLK Foundation of FL, Inc. and the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church held it’s fourth Annual Black History Month Program on Feb.21, at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.
The Keynote Speaker was the Reverend R. Matthew Carter, II, J.D., Ph. D. Dr. Carter is a member of the Florida A&M University Board of Trustees and the former Chairman of the Florida Public Service Commission.
The Honorees for the occasion were Star Metro, Alexis McMillian, Cynthia Barber, Marion McGee, Sandra Manning, Stephen R. Winn, Robert Kenon, Ramon J. Alexander, McKenzie Jackson and the Rev. Stanley Walker. William Rousie, Jr. and Miss Giles won the Auditorial Contest Award.
The 31st Annual Commemorative Black History Booklet was unveiled.
